Promoting Classroom Civility and Working with Disruptive Students (Webinar)

The erosion of classroom decorum affects our success as teachers, as well as out students' success as learners. The following ideas will be discussed and some solutions offered:
- The root of incivility can be student will, skill, or ill
- Typically reported categories of student incivility
- Faculty actions that might inadvertently encourage student incivility
- Differing faculty expectations and our PIST indicator
- Approaches for promoting student civility
- Leveraging the positive
- Specific strategies for your thorny problems
