Experiential Education: Where's the Experience... Where's the Education?

Lead: Erik Rosegard, Associate Professor, Recreation, Parks, and Tourism
Date and Time: Thursday, March 12, 2009 at 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Location: Burk Hall 333

Experience is a powerful teaching and learning tool. However, establishing a connection between experience and education can be difficult for students. This workshop will provide a framework for experiential education in the classroom, and provide strategies for using experience to deepen learning that is both enjoyable and meaningful.
