Faculty Learning Communities
The Center for Teaching and Faculty Development has supported and currently supports a variety of Faculty Learning Communities.
From Faculty Learning Communities (FLCs) established by grant participants—such the former Ensuring Access Through Collaboration and Technology (EnACT) Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE) Universal Design for Learning (UDL) learning community and the current ELIXR/ Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE) Student Engagement project—to Center for Teaching and Faculty Development (CTFD) sponsored groups built around themes such as sustainability, the scholarship of teaching and learning, and interdisciplinary teaching, the Center is proud to foster these dynamic and focused examples of campus leadership and creative pedagogy.
If you or your colleagues are interested in forming a Faculty Learning Community and would like Center for Teaching and Faculty Development (CTFD) to consider sponsorship, please contact the Director, Pamela Vaughn, at ctfd@sfsu.edu for an appointment.
