AT 2012 Summer Institute
Lead: Academic Technology
All faculty are invited to join us this summer for a two-day Institute designed to enrich your course delivery options and offer customized support for your teaching needs. Your time and energy are valuable – both inside and outside of the classroom. Discover how other SF State faculty have adapted and optimized their specific course goals for tech-enhanced or online delivery using a variety of technologies supported by Academic Technology.
This institute will be hands-on, with interactive demonstrations and engaging activities--no prior experience is required.
Summer Institute faculty participant and Academic Technology Consultant review faculty work on laptop Topics will include:
- Experimenting with various methods of course delivery
- Fostering interactivity and student engagement
- Instructional activities for online and face-to-face delivery
- Alternative modes of assessment
In addition to an informative faculty showcase, Academic Technology consultants will share how to use various technologies and services for your 2012-13 classes. Consultants will be available to help you get started on a customized Teaching-with-Technology Plan for Fall 2012, with a guarantee of personalized support throughout the year for Institute attendees.
