Dr. Tara Yosso describes Community Cultural Wealth as “an array of knowledges, skills, abilities and contacts possessed and used by Communities of Color to survive and resist racism and other forms of oppression.” Students of color use these forms of wealth to navigate, survive, and thrive in educational institutions that were not created to support their positionalities and experiences.
